Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER NAS division is hiring a Field Project Manager for a remote role within 50 miles of any Eaton office west of the Mississippi. You will lead end-to-end execution of engineered-to-order data center projects, coordinating across customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role involves heavy technical liaison duties, contract interpretation, BOM management, and driving profitability. Travel ~25% across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum 5 years electrical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Relocation not available; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Eaton facility west of the Mississippi.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar visa programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex, engineered-to-order data center projects with focus on technical accuracy and schedule adherence.
• Serve as primary technical liaison between customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing to manage order configuration and documentation.
• Review and interpret contract drawings; manage BOM changes and ensure alignment with customer and Eaton requirements.
• Drive profitability by negotiating resources and priorities and leveraging market intelligence.
• Coordinate resources to develop, manage, and deliver complete project documentation and deliverables.
• Act as customer advocate; communicate urgency and escalate risks as needed.
• Apply sales planning expertise to identify process improvements and new initiatives.
• Manage projects across multiple U.S. time zones and mentor junior PMs.
