Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc (USA) seeks a Field Medical Associate Director, Dermatology & Immunology - West to lead an MSL team and advance medical strategy through scientific engagements with healthcare providers and managed care accounts.

You will report to the National Field Director, Medical Affairs and help develop field medical strategy, ensuring compliant collaboration with cross-functional partners and driving performance through coaching, analytics and expert engagement.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (Pharm.D., MD/DO, Ph.D.) in a health science or clinical discipline.
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of Medical Science Liaison experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire diverse talent to enhance MSL capabilities and foster collaboration with Sun values.
• Coach MSLs to achieve therapy area strategy and conduct territory planning and field visits.
• Maintain dermatology knowledge, landscape, and managed markets trends to provide up-to-date information to HCPs and internal teams.
• Work cross-functionally to support evolving business needs and internal stakeholders.
• Translate MSL analytics and customer feedback to inform business and communicate regional activities to leadership.
• Direct MSLs on engagement plans, speaker training, clinical trial support, managed markets presentations, and projects.
• Ensure MSLs have resources, tools, and training to meet field medical objectives.
• Identify thought leaders to uncover business opportunities and align unmet needs with resources.
• Develop standards across therapeutic areas for MSL activities with Medical Affairs leadership.
• Monitor compliance with SUN Health Care Compliance SOPs and US regulations for external engagements.
