Job summary

The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking a Field Collections Supervisor to organize, train, and oversee a team of in‑office and field staff collecting delinquent tax liabilities. The role includes enforcing laws, approving distraint and seizures, and representing the department on settlement issues as needed.

The position may offer remote work within Arizona and requires leadership, compliance, and strong tax knowledge.

Qualifications

• Supervises and trains field and in-office staff in delinquent tax collections.
• Reviews and approves enforcement actions (liens, levies, subpoenas, litigation, seizures).
• Supports program development and management of collections programs.
• Maintains compliance with laws and drives continuous improvement.
• Engages in project leadership for mandated and non-mandated initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve enforcement actions and oversee collection activities.
