Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Field Clinical Engineer to join the Product Delivery Solutions team in the Implantable Device Unit. You will support the clinical use and deployment of Class III devices, providing real-time technical support during procedures and facilitating education for healthcare professionals.

You will gather field insights to drive product development, assist with regulatory submissions, and collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Safety, and Commercial teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical or field support experience with implantable devices.
• Experience supporting intrathecal device use during procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support during implantation and follow-up with Class III devices.
• Troubleshoot during procedures and offer clinically sound recommendations.
• Educate clinicians on device function, workflow and therapy benefits.
• Conduct in-service trainings and ongoing clinical education for users.
• Document field interactions per quality and regulatory standards.
