Job summary

ABB Electrification seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the US. You will lead design support for MV/LV power distribution solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across consulting partners through the project lifecycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or MS) with 8+ years of experience, strong knowledge of industry codes, fluency in English, and willingness to travel ~25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master’s in Engineering with relevant exp.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E, UL standards preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; able to collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and specify MV/LV power distribution solutions with design support and budgeting.
• Review electrical system designs, one-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment specs.
• Lead customer education initiatives and provide advanced power system analyses and studies.
• Evaluate project tech, financial, and risk factors and relay insights to leadership.
