Job summary

RELX INC’s LexisNexis Risk Solutions team seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security and compliance for our FedRAMP-authorized cloud environment. Partner with Engineering, Cloud Operations, DevOps, Product, and Compliance to maintain authorization and drive continuous security improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in information security and 3+ years supporting FedRAMP/FISMA, with hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and strong NIST/ RMF focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
• 5+ years of information security, cybersecurity, or compliance experience.
• 3+ years supporting FedRAMP, FISMA, or federal compliance programs.
• Experience maintaining FedRAMP Moderate or High environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and FISMA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated ISSO for FedRAMP-authorized systems.
• Maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) and support ongoing compliance activities.
• Lead FedRAMP continuous monitoring activities and reporting.
• Coordinate annual assessments, audits, penetration testing, and security reviews (3PAOs).
• Manage security communications with federal agencies and stakeholders.
• Perform security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Review POA&M items through remediation and monitor changes.
• Ensure proper implementation of NIST 800-53 controls.
• Facilitate security reviews for architecture changes and cloud deployments.
• Coordinate with engineering/DevOps to integrate security into SDLC.
