Job summary

Softek is seeking a Project Manager to lead federal IT projects from initiation through delivery, using Agile methodologies to manage scope, schedule, and budget. You will serve as the primary point of contact for government clients and contracting officers, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring contractual obligations and quality standards.

The role focuses on driving delivery improvements, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and overseeing metrics, milestones, and risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT.
• PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agilist certification.
• Experience managing federal government contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for federal IT contracts.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk using Agile methodologies.
• Serve as primary point of contact for government clients and contracting officers.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Track and report on project metrics, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and designers.
