Job summary

SMX seeks a Federal Financial Business Analyst to join the client service delivery team. This role focuses on budgeting, planning, and reporting for federal customers, leveraging SAC. The position is 100% remote with travel<20% and requires Public Trust clearance.

You will partner with government stakeholders to analyze financial data, drive process improvements, and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance performance and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial and operational data, improve business processes, develop actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven solutions.
• Define and document business processes, workflows, requirements, and decision-making needs.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify process improvements.
• Recommend technology and data solutions to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
• Create quality documentation across all SDLC phases and develop test plans and use cases.
