Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the dedicated liaison for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Ecological Services segment on a data integration program.

This remote role will bridge Peraton and FWS stakeholders, ensuring compliance with FWS standards and obtaining necessary approvals. The position emphasizes documenting current workflows, gathering specific requirements for species integration, and coordinating multi-agency reviews to deliver compliant, validated platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience or a Masters with 6 years
• Associates with 10 years experience
• High school diploma/equivalent with 14 years' professional experience
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Experience in federal environmental programs and ESA processes

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated SME for FWS Ecological Services business processes and stakeholder coordination
• Document current-state FWS consultation workflows and templates
• Elicit and document FWS-specific requirements for species integration and display standards
• Coordinate with FWS ES staff to obtain SOPs and ensure map production complies with requirements
• Facilitate range map review cycles and FWS ES sign-off on deliverables
• Support FWS ES review of UI updates, materials, and validation checklists
• Coordinate FWS ES review and acceptance of updated decision logic and assets
• Support training metric targets for FWS ES
• Act as primary liaison between Peraton team and FWS Ecological Services
