SMX is seeking a government budget specialist to leverage deep knowledge of federal budgeting and planning to enhance our BAS solution for federal customers. Join a cross-functional team of designers and developers on a multi-year, fully remote contract.

The role emphasizes requirements gathering, process improvement, and customer demonstrations. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in government budgeting, strong presentation skills, and experience with budgeting/BI tools (SAC, SAP, Power BI).

Qualificações

• 5+ years working with Government budgets and spend plans.
• Deep understanding of government financial processes (e.g. Budget Formulation, Spend Plans, Position Planning, Budget Execution, Working Capital Funds, Reimbursable Agreements).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Curiosity and desire to learn.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Gathering of requirements and coordinating with the implementation team.
• Design and enhance budgeting and planning functionality with dashboards and forms.
• Explain proposed functionality using visual aids and diagrams.
• Manage software releases, testing, and documentation.
• Create admin and end-user documentation and training guides.
