Qualifications

• Current Washington State Bar license with 2-5+ years of family law experience; trial experience is a plus, but a collaborative mindset is essential.
• Demonstrably collaborative, growth-minded and empathetic approach to law and colleagues.
• Strong communication, organizational, and client-centered skills.
• Fully supported by a professional team including paralegals, legal assistants and billing staff to enable focus on client outcomes.
• A growth mindset and openness to adopting modern technology and firm systems.

Responsibilities

• Champion collaboration to guide clients toward thoughtful, less adversarial resolutions.
• Lead with negotiation to meet client goals and foster stable futures.
• Pursue constructive, collaborative solutions to minimize courtroom conflicts.
• Represent clients in court when necessary while upholding the firm’s values.
• Mentor and lead the legal pod in a supportive, ethical manner.
• Review and finalize legal documents (pleadings, motions, judgments).
• Provide monthly case updates to clients for peace of mind.
