Shankar Legal Inc. is seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney to work in a hybrid remote/on-site role in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CA practice, strong writing and advocacy skills, and a willingness to train in family law.

The position features client meetings, court appearances, and a robust Attorney Training Program, with a 1700-hour annual billable requirement. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Active California attorney with good standing and CA Bar.
• 1+ year of law practice in California required.
• Family law experience preferred but training offered.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills required.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances and meetings.
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Represent clients in family law matters including dissolution, custody, and support.
• Prepare, file, and serve pleadings and court forms.
• Manage discovery and financial disclosures, subpoenas, and depositions.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials and conferences.
• Draft settlements, orders, and post-judgment modifications.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs; maintain client relations.
