Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking an expert Microsoft Excel tutor to join our Live Learning Platform nationwide. You’ll set your own schedule, work remotely, and invoice for tutoring sessions, earning up to $40 per hour.

We look for advanced Excel mastery, the ability to teach effectively, and strong communication. You’ll connect with students 1-on-1 online, using our Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and deliver practical business-focused Excel training.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Excel formulas and functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, array formulas).
• Ability to explain cell references and data analysis workflows to students.
• Experience teaching and adapting to diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online Excel tutoring sessions.
• Adapt sessions to individual student learning styles.
• Explain Excel formulas, build dashboards, and demonstrate data analysis workflows.
• Use Tutor Copilot to enhance instruction and save prep time.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage scheduling through the platform.
