Job summary

Arcata Associates, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer to perform evaluation, sustainment, design, and modification for radar and EW systems.

The role is remote with a team of operators, technicians, and engineers, focusing on mission-critical systems that must be functional to support operations. Responsibilities include coordination with engineering and O&M, system integration with vendors, and development of training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience with at least five years in radar, electronic and data processing/control systems.
• Experience with radar/EW systems design, integration, sustainment and fielding.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and upgrade existing threat and EW systems with engineering and operations personnel.
• Coordinate system integration with project teams and vendors; ensure power, comms, instrumentation and C2 requirements are met.
• Develop processes and procedures for training and technician competency to operate equipment.
• Lead testing, modify equipment, and address design deficiencies based on performance data.
