Job summary

Shift is seeking licensed therapists to deliver virtual mental health care in an independent contractor role. Evening sessions (6–9 PM EST) are required, with some weekend availability encouraged.

You’ll receive client referrals, take on a growing caseload, and focus on high-quality clinical care while Shift handles billing and operations. Ideal candidates have an MSW/RSW/RP and at least 2 years post-licensure, with liability insurance and a secure home office.

Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work or Counselling Psychology and MSW/RSW/RP registration.
• Minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Reliable internet and a private, secure workspace.
• Fluency in languages beyond English is a strong asset.
• Vulnerable Sector Check required for all successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality virtual therapy during evening hours (6–9 PM EST) on weekdays.
• Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships and treatment planning.
• Manage client intake, scheduling, and notes via the secure telehealth platform.
• Partner with marketing and referrals teams to grow your caseload.
• Participate in supervision, workshops, and clinical training.
