Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions is seeking an Estonian Interpreter to work from home in the United States. As the Estonian Telephone Interpreter, you will handle calls on demand, rendering meaning between Estonian and English speakers across various industries.

This independent contractor role offers $1.00 – $1.15 per minute, and while remote work is available, successful candidates will demonstrate fluency in both languages and a commitment to cultural sensitivity. A high school diploma is preferred, and applicants must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Estonian and English with strong cultural competency.
• Education or work experience in language fields preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a professional manner.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to established protocol.
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout sessions.
