AML RightSource is seeking an Entry Level Financial Crimes Investigator to join our remote team in the United States. No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training to build a career in financial crime compliance.

You will review transactions, identify suspicious activity, and support KYC compliance while working from your home workspace. Starting at $40,000 with a 90-day probationary increase to $42,000, with health and retirement benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Office tools.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to feedback.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, filtering, sorting) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Verify client identities and assess their relationships with financial institutions for KYC purposes.
• Interpret and implement client-operating policies related to financial data.
• Identify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations; elevate for review.
• Write clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Use basic Excel functions and technology applications for analysis.
• Meet production and quality standards while collaborating in a team.
