Job summary

AML RightSource, LLC is seeking an Entry Level Financial Crimes Investigator to review transactions, identify suspicious activity, and support KYC compliance from your home office in the United States. No prior experience required; training provided during the first three weeks.

After training, you’ll work standard hours with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration with a global team. You’ll enhance Excel skills, produce clear written reports, and help protect financial institutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to learn quickly.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Office tools.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to feedback, and identify process improvements.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, filtering, sorting) and strong research skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Verify client identities and assess their relationships for KYC purposes.
• Interpret and implement client-operating policies related to financial data.
• Identify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, and escalate for second level review.
• Write clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Use basic Excel functions and technology applications for analysis.
• Adhere to designated timeframes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Submit written work product for review by internal quality control teams and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Meet production and quality standards while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and company policies, and client requirements related to AML.
