Job summary

Ingram Marine Group seeks an accounting professional to support accurate, timely accounting per U.S. GAAP, with emphasis on the month-end cycle and operational reporting.

You will assist terminal revenue accounting, reconcile ledgers, and prepare KPI and throughput reports for management. You will compile financial/operational data, assist with payments and AP coordination, maintain audit-ready docs, and support process improvements and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, focusing on month-end accounting cycle and operational reporting.
• Support terminal revenue accounting and revenue accruals; reconcile general ledger activity to operational reporting systems.
• Research billing discrepancies and accounting questions; prepare tonnage, throughput, royalty, KPI, and operational reports.
• Compile and distribute financial and operational reporting information; support terminal-related payment requests and AP coordination.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits; support process improvement initiatives.
• Perform special projects as assigned; assist in budget preparation; support ad hoc requests from operations and finance departments.
