The role emphasizes automation, safeguarding cloud and hybrid environments, and contributing to secure enterprise architectures while partnering with teams across Box to protect data and enable AI-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise, cloud, or security engineering.
• Strong understanding of IAM, Zero Trust, remote access, and network security.
• Hands-on with identity providers, EDR, SIEM, and cloud security tooling.
• Experience developing automation using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Go).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain security systems supporting Box's enterprise security strategy.
• Secure corporate infrastructure, endpoints, AI and SaaS apps, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and Engineering to identify security gaps and enforce controls.
• Build and maintain security monitoring, dashboards, and metrics to improve risk visibility.
• Automate security operations and policy enforcement using APIs and IaC.
• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security investigations.
