Job summary

Ferguson seeks an Enterprise Network Design Engineer to support a large-scale network across approximately 1,400 locations in North America, focusing on Cisco, SD-WAN and Meraki technologies to deliver reliable, secure solutions.

The role is fully remote in the United States, with responsibilities spanning design, troubleshooting, documentation and modernization of network infrastructure to improve uptime and scalability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center, SD-WAN, cloud, wireless, load-balancer, routing, firewall, or monitoring.
• Strong design, implementation and delivery skills for enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage WAN/LAN, WLAN, VPN and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with NOC, SOC, and other teams to resolve incidents.
• Troubleshoot network infrastructure and improve uptime.
• Document network designs and changes.
• Configure and scale load-balancing platforms, e.g., F5 environments.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and governance (SOX, PCI).
• Maintain accurate hardware/software inventories.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning.
