Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator for an enterprise infrastructure role in Boulder, CO. The position, a 6-month contract, focuses on maintaining Linux environments, authentication services, and virtualization while driving modernization and automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency, leveraging Python, Bash, and Perl scripting to automate routine tasks and support scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux expertise and administration experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with AlmaLinux, RHEL, and related distributions.
• Automation development using Python, Bash/Shell, and Perl.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Linux environments (AlmaLinux, RHEL and related distributions).
• Manage core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, authentication, SMTP relays.
• Support VMware virtualization and storage platforms for enterprise workloads.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux servers and services.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Perl.
• Collaborate with Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Identity teams on projects.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise systems.
