SEI is seeking a part-time Assistant Faculty for online English courses, primarily remote in the USA. The role supports instructional faculty, communicates with students, and helps maintain an engaging online classroom for undergraduate English.

Requires a Master's in English or Communication (terminal degree preferred) and prior teaching (online preferred). Saturday availability is required, with shifts in the Fall quarter starting 10/5/26.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in English or Communication from regionally accredited institution.
• A terminal degree in English or Communications is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is required.
• Online teaching experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze student activity in discussions and assessments and respond to guidance from the lead instructor.
• Assist in managing student communications.
• Escalate unique issues to the lead instructor.
• Assist with grading and providing feedback.
• Monitor engagement and suggest strategies to improve participation.
• Provide tutoring or live sessions as needed by the lead instructor.
