Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) offers an EMT Military Fellowship for active-duty military personnel in the South Region, providing training and internships in emergency medical response. This program allows service members to gain valuable civilian work experience while serving their final months of active duty.

Qualified participants will provide emergency assistance and high-quality care, while adhering to safety protocols and community engagement. Applicants must possess a high school diploma and meet SkillBridge qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Active-Duty Service Member.
• Meet DoD SkillBridge Qualifications.
• Available to participate for 90 days.
• Must obtain approval from unit commander.
• Pass the Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of patients and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for patients.
• Operate an ambulance following safety policies and laws.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare personnel.
