Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Sr Mfg Process Technician I to operate automated packaging equipment and troubleshoot issues across multiple lines. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2 years technical experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or Packaging environment.
• Or an Associate's degree with 6 months technical experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or Packaging environment.
• Preferred: GMP, Medical Device, or Biotech Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated packaging lines to meet safety, quality and efficiency standards.
• Maintain machine uptime and clear faults on automated equipment.
• Perform basic manufacturing operations: dispensing materials, material reconciliation, line clearance, basic analytics, and batch records.
• Review documentation and assist as training resource for manufacturing tasks.
• Use HMIs to identify alarms and correct line stoppages; ensure continuous operation.
• Follow GMPs and standard operating procedures; train fellow staff on processes and equipment.
• Support cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities; assist with SAP inventory transactions.
