Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and process medical exception requests based on pharmacist-created algorithms.
• Assess prior authorization requests against criteria submitted by physicians and pharmacists.
• Enter data and generate ad hoc reports for member profiles and requests.
• Provide information by phone to physicians and pharmacists about pharmacy benefits and initiatives.
• Coordinate formulary utilization tools like prior authorization and step therapy.
• Support on-call rotations and after-hours pharmacy issue responses.
