Preferred candidates include CNAs, LPNs, or Medical Assistants with 1+ years in patient health support or care. This full-time position offers day hours with weekends/holidays off and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and providers.
• Customer service with ability to relay sensitive information to members.
• Attention to accuracy when reviewing pre-certifications and plans.

Responsibilities

• Answer first level Utilization Review calls and triage to determine need for a nurse.
• Review medical records and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate care.
• Support cost-effective care in line with clinical guidelines and insurance requirements.
