Job summary

Erie Insurance is seeking an in-office Supervisor for the Property Damage Department, based in Richmond with travel to Southeast Regions footprint. You will oversee property adjusters, ensure adherence to policy, and support claims leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 4+ years claims experience preferred.
• Experience with estimating software is preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and monitors activities of assigned claims adjusters and staff.
• Reviews claims and provides guidance on coverage and reserves.
• Speaks with claimants and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Directs processing of legal papers and coordinates with outside counsel as needed.
• Travel up to 1 week per month for ride-alongs and agency visits.
• Contributes to projects supporting business strategy and operations.
