Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience with 10 key, typing, and computer skills; 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
• Experience with claims processing or eligibility verification preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, with outbound calls and productivity/accuracy expectations.

Responsibilities

• Researches and resolves member eligibility requests with accuracy.
• Maintain minimum production levels per day with high accuracy.
• Input and save verified member information into logs and maintenance modules.
• Provide professional customer service and handle provider/member inquiries.
• Process research in 24–48 hour windows and update logs accordingly.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in teamwork within the department.
