Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to steer how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering tasks. You will apply your design judgment built from years of hardware work to guide the models and shape the tooling.

You’ll craft realistic problems, run them through AI systems, compare versions, critique derivations and calculations, and flag faults with concrete evidence. This role is remote, with flexible project-based work for global contributors.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• 2+ years of circuit or electronics engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics or related field preferred.
• Ability to defend design choices with reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering problems for AI evaluation.
• Run problems through frontier models and judge outputs.
• Compare model versions on prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model outputs and provide reasoned conclusions.
• Flag incorrect assumptions with evidence.
