Job summary

Grace Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer for Electrical Reliability Solutions. Remote position with preference for candidates in Texas; travel ~10%.

You will review customer electrical systems, identify reliability risks, and design monitoring solutions for power distribution equipment. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong ability to read diagrams and develop BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering or reliability.
• Ability to read/interpret single-line diagrams and drawings.
• Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power systems.
• Experience translating requirements into system designs and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical single-line diagrams and equipment drawings.
• Evaluate power distribution equipment including switchgear and MCCs.
• Identify monitoring points and hardware for CTM deployments.
• Develop marked-up SLDs, layouts, BOMs, and quotes.
• Provide engineering guidance on installation and application suitability.
• Collaborate with customers, OEMs, and Grace sales teams.
• Support new applications and repeatable solution designs.
• Incorporate customer feedback into product improvements.
