Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Part-Time Remote Electrical Product Inspector to join the North Carolina Electrical team. The role involves conducting inspections at manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with Intertek standards and ETL certification requirements. Remote work is allowed, but candidates must reside in the United States.

The position requires extensive travel (up to 75%), lifting up to 40 pounds, and the ability to stand for long periods. A valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher required with related experience.
• Experience in electronic/electrical testing, quality control, or inspection.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct surveillance inspections at manufacturing facilities.
• Document production and quality processes and required tests.
• Inspect ETL-listed products and review certification documents.
• Document compliance and advise clients on resolutions.
• Submit Follow-up Service Inspection Reports for each client.
• Communicate findings between facility reps and Intertek staff.
• Maintain expenses within guidelines and perform other duties.
