Job summary

Intertek seeks a Part-Time Remote Electrical Product Inspector for Product Certification to join our Electrical team in Sioux Falls, SD and surrounding area. The role is remote, with travel up to 75%, and requires manufacturing/testing experience in electrical products.

The base wage ranges from $30 to $42 per hour; benefits are not included for this part-time position. You will inspect ETL Listed products, document processes, review tests, and communicate findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic/electrical product manufacturing/testing or quality/reliability testing.
• Knowledge of testing and inspection of electrical products is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct surveillance inspections per schedule.
• Document production and quality processes and required tests.
• Inspect ETL Listed products and review labeling inventory and non-compliances.
• Document compliance findings and advise clients on resolutions.
• Complete and submit Follow-up Service Inspection Reports.
• Communicate information between facility representatives and Intertek personnel.
• Maintain expenses within given guidelines.
• Perform other work as required.
