Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Remote Electrical Engineer specialized in power distribution to join our global engineering team. You will design, analyze, and optimize medium and low-voltage distribution networks for critical infrastructure projects, collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years in power distribution engineering, and proficiency with CYME, ETAP, or PSS Sincal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical power distribution engineering.
• Proficiency with power system analysis software (CYME, ETAP, PSS SINCAL).
• Strong understanding of distribution design principles, protection philosophies, and equipment standards.
• Experience with renewable energy integration is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical distribution systems, including substations, feeder circuits, and protection schemes.
• Perform load analysis, fault studies, and protection coordination for distribution networks using specialized software.
• Specify and select distribution equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and protective relays.
• Develop and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and utility partners in a remote capacity.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of grid modernization initiatives and smart grid technologies.
