Job summary

Jacobs seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its digital twin and pre‑commissioning simulation practice. You will model power systems, rotating machinery, and electrical controls for data centers, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure.

With 5–10 years in electrical engineering, you will develop dynamic models, validate control logic, and support commissioning guidance. Travel up to 25% to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience with ≥3 years in power systems design or simulation.
• Experience developing dynamic electrical models for data centers, industrial facilities, or critical infra.
• Knowledge of protecting coordination and SCADA/EPMS data integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop physics-based dynamic models for power systems and projects.
• Validate control sequences, perform contingency and transfer analyses.
• Produce technical reports with confidence intervals and assumptions.
