Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a UI/UX Designer to lead the design of web and mobile experiences for developing decoders products. This project-based independent contractor role demands creative leadership across digital platforms and collaboration with product and curriculum teams.

The position supports a minimum of 10–20 hours per week, fully remote, with compensation in the $75–$90 per hour range. Start date is flexible based on candidate availability.

Qualifications

Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design for web and mobile.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Experience designing responsive web interfaces and native or cross‑platform mobile apps.
Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility and inclusive design.
Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely and meet milestones.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end UX design for web and mobile platforms.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Develop a cohesive design system and component library.
Collaborate with curriculum teams to support learning experiences.
Iterate based on stakeholder feedback.
Deliver design assets and specifications to developers.
Participate in regular design reviews with the team.
