Job summary

Tegria is seeking an Edifecs Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain healthcare EDI interfaces within Edifecs applications. You will support HIPAA transactions and collaborate across teams to improve EDI workflows.

The role requires 3+ years of Edifecs experience in a payer environment, with hands-on work on XEngine, SpecBuilder, Translator, and STPM, plus strong SQL, XML, Java, and REST/SOAP skills. Remote within Georgia option available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of Edifecs development experience in a healthcare payer environment.
• Experience with Edifecs XEngine, SpecBuilder, Translator and STPM.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Edifecs applications and healthcare EDI interfaces.
• Develop and support HIPAA transaction processing (834, 835, 837, 270/271, 276/277, 278).
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions; create mappings and rules.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve data problems.
• Collaborate with BAs, product owners, vendors, and ops to improve EDI workflows.
• Support testing: unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and industry standards; develop docs and procedures.
