Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of ML engineering experience with edge or mobile AI.
• Strong Python and C++ programming skills.
• Experience with edge inference frameworks and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design edge AI solutions for mobile SoCs, NPUs, and accelerators.
• Apply quantization and pruning to fit models on edge devices.
• Tune latency, energy use, and memory on target hardware.
• Build cross-platform runtimes using TensorFlow Lite/ONNX/ Core ML.
• Optimize backends for DSPs, NPUs, and mobile GPUs.
• Implement on-device model update, versioning, rollback for staged rollouts.
• Design hybrid edge-cloud architectures with connectivity awareness.
• Maintain telemetry with privacy considerations.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and product teams.
• Ensure secure execution paths and model protection.
• Create benchmarking suites for accuracy, latency, energy.
• Drive on-device privacy and bias evaluation.
• Maintain architecture docs and runbooks.
