Job summary

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a Telehealth Primary Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy through our virtual PHP/IOP program for eating disorder treatment. The role is remote in the United States and collaborates with medical, psychiatric, and nutritional teams.

Candidates should have a Master’s in social work or psychology, two years of mental health experience, and be pursuing licensure as a Registered Intern.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology or related human services field, preferably knowledgeable in Eating Disorders.
• Two years of work experience in mental health field conducting individual and group therapy.
• Licensure preferred; Registered Intern required and working towards licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in virtual PHP/IOP care.
• Conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Create and implement Master Treatment Plans with the treatment team.
• Support discharge planning and care coordination.
• Maintain communication with referral sources and external providers.
• Interact with families and outpatient providers.
• Interact with insurance for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support and modeling a healthy relationship with food.
• Ensure culturally competent, safe, and affirming care for each client.
