Job summary

CVS Health Corporation's Aetna Mental Well-being division seeks an experienced EAP Clinical Counselor to provide immediate, 24/7 virtual mental health support to members nationwide. The role emphasizes crisis intervention, safety planning, and linkage to care in a fully remote United States setting.

Requires a Master’s in behavioral health counseling and an active independent license per state regulations. 40 hours/week with a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health counseling.
• Valid unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage is required.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a 24/7 call center environment.
• Develop immediate safety plans based on urgency and risk assessments.
• Advise on levels of care and linkage to resources to support access to treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation meeting risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure continuity of care and positive clinical outcomes.
