Job summary

Alignerr is seeking detail-oriented Dutch transcriptionists to produce accurate verbatim transcripts of Dutch-language audio for AI training.

This fully remote, hourly-contract role is ideal for native Dutch speakers with strong listening skills and the patience for meticulous work. Prior transcription or subtitling experience is a plus, and you can work 10–40 hours per week at your own pace.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch.
• Excellent listening skills for challenging audio.
• Highly detail-oriented and patient for repetitive tasks.
• Able to follow and apply detailed style guides and formatting rules.
• Strong written Dutch spelling and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Dutch audio recordings and produce precise verbatim transcriptions.
• Handle noisy audio with crosstalk, pauses, background noise, and multiple speakers.
• Identify and distinguish between different speakers throughout recordings.
• Apply transcription conventions and non-verbal sound annotations according to guidelines.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy across large volumes of audio.
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments.
