Job summary

Bose Corporation is seeking a DSP Engineer to build audio technologies that span across products and brands. You will develop signal processing algorithms, collaborating with senior DSP engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, portable solutions for embedded, real-time systems.

You’ll work on noise reduction, voice pickup, spatial audio, and speech enhancement, tailoring implementations for diverse hardware and software environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus on signal processing.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in DSP, audio, or embedded systems development.
• Solid foundation in digital signal processing, with experience applying it to audio or speech.
• Hands-on experience developing algorithms for embedded or real-time systems.
• Programming experience using C, Python, and MATLAB to develop, analyze, and test signal processing algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Build, design, implement, and test DSP algorithms for audio, speech, voice, and microphone array applications.
• Shape better audio experiences by contributing to active noise reduction, voice pickup, spatial audio, and speech enhancement.
• Bring algorithms to life by integrating and validating signal processing on embedded, real-time systems.
• Make technology work across platforms by adapting and tuning algorithms for different hardware and software constraints.
• Investigate performance using acoustic measurements, lab equipment, and debugging tools to solve problems.
• Collaborate across engineering, systems, software, and product management to support future platform needs.
