Job summary

Pharmacy Careers is seeking a Remote DUR Pharmacist to analyze medications, apply guidelines, and collaborate with providers — all from home. This role focuses on improving outcomes at scale through clinical reviews and recommendations.

You will conduct prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews, evaluate prescribing against guidelines, and identify interactions to optimize safety and cost-effectiveness. Remote or hybrid schedules may be available.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Managed care, PBM, or health-plan experience preferred.
• Strong clinical pharmacy skills and collaboration with providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct drug utilization reviews (prospective, concurrent, retrospective).
• Evaluate prescribing patterns against guidelines and formulary criteria.
• Identify potential drug interactions and inappropriate therapy.
• Prepare recommendations to optimize therapy and reduce risk.
• Document reviews and ensure compliance with state, federal, and health-plan requirements.
• Contribute to quality-improvement initiatives and program development.
