Job summary

Squire Patton Boggs is seeking a Docketing Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join the Docket Department and maintain the firm’s docket system. This role requires careful calendar management across multiple courts and the ability to independently verify dates from documents.

We are open to remote or hybrid arrangements, but prefer candidates in Arizona or located in an established west coast location to align with business hours.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with CompuLaw docketing software and calendar management.
  • Strong knowledge of County, State, and U.S. District Court rules.
  • Ability to research dates from documents to supplement automation.
  • Excellent proofreading and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and memory skills.
  • Service-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Performs electronic legal docketing via docketing software from documents and rules; researches dates when needed.
  • Reviews documents submitted to the Docket Department and determines service method.
  • Uses CompuLaw to calculate due dates, deadlines, events; adjusts when necessary.
  • Proofreads calendar entries for accuracy and ensures consistency.
  • Maintains strict attention to detail and high-quality word processing.
  • Works with attorneys and staff, communicating findings and updates.
  • Manages workload in a well-organized, independent manner.
