Advanced Medical Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Remote DME Biller to submit, monitor, and follow up insurance claims for durable medical equipment and related services.

This role collaborates with customer service, intake, referrals, and insurance providers to ensure efficient processing and maximize reimbursement. Success in this position requires solid DME billing experience and a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance reimbursement guidelines, while

Qualifications

• Prior DME billing experience is required.
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Experience with accounts receivable follow-up, denials management, claim corrections, and appeals.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical billing software.

Responsibilities

• Submit clean, accurate claims for DME and related services.
• Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and payer requirements.
• Maintain prior authorizations and required documentation.
• Review accounts receivable aging and prioritize collections.
• Process CMNs and other required documentation.
• Communicate billing updates and payer requirements to internal teams.
• Review patient balances and coordinate follow-up.
• Cross-train to support other billing and customer service functions.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and all regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
