Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid background in modern test processes and strategies.
• Experience with Python or Go development.
• Strong object oriented development skills.
• Working knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of networking technologies and fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of the Linux system architecture.
• 2-4 weeks of international travel per year.

Responsibilities

• Create automated testing approaches and infrastructure for validating reliability and performance of cloud orchestration tools.
• Enable engineering teams to use distributed system testing tooling across Canonical.
• Enhance CI pipelines for deploying and testing Canonical cloud products.
• Deploy, manage, and debug highly distributed systems on clouds and bare metal.
• Monitor and report on automated testing efforts and outcomes.
