Job summary

The role shapes route scouting, optimization, impurity control, scale‑up, and technology transfer in collaboration with analytical, formulation, QA, and regulatory teams. You will evaluate manufacturing strategies, oversee CDMOs, ensure regulatory readiness, and mentor scientists in a global matrix organization.

Qualifications

• PhD in Organic Chemistry or related field required; exceptional candidates with other degrees may be considered.
• 10+ years in process chemistry or drug substance development within pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and regulatory submission support.

Responsibilities

• Shape drug substance development strategies for small molecule programs.
• Provide leadership on route selection, process development, and scale‑up.
• Oversee external CDMO activities and timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and health authority interactions for drug substance.
