Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Director, Policy Governance to own the enterprise-wide framework for policies, ensuring a single source of truth and enforceable guidance. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, HR, IT, and Finance to balance risk with speed and productivity.

Remote work is supported with up to 10% travel. The role requires a deep background in governance, policy development, and strategic advisory at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; JD/MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in corporate governance, legal, compliance, or related areas.
• Ability to lead cross-functional policy initiatives and translate requirements into guidance.
• Influence senior leaders on policy and risk matters while balancing business needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; change management experience.
• Experience with policy management systems and governance tools.

Responsibilities

• Policy Architecture: Create and oversee a centralized policy structure and a searchable repository for all corporate policies.
• Cross-Functional Governance: Lead Policy Governance to ensure policies are understandable and do not hinder productivity.
• Modernization & Maintenance: Update or retire policies to reflect changing requirements.
• Change Management: Develop communication strategies to ensure policy awareness and adoption.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify policy gaps and draft proactive solutions.
