Pax8 is seeking a Director of Platform Security Engineering to lead our Application Security and Secure Software Development programs, shaping security from design through deployment and operation in a cloud-native platform era.

You will build security roadmaps, drive secure-by-design practices, and scale SDLC tooling while mentoring a world-class team to reduce product risk and enable rapid, secure innovation.

Competenze

• Extensive leadership experience in Application/Security Engineering (10+ years).
• Proven ability to scale Secure SDLC programs and drive security at scale.
• Deep expertise in threat modelling, secure design reviews, security testing, and vulnerability management.

Mansioni

• Define and execute the vision for Application Security, Product Security, and Secure Software Development across Pax8.
• Build long-term security roadmaps aligned to engineering objectives, priorities, and risk appetite.
• Champion secure-by-design principles throughout the organization.
• Partner with engineering leaders to integrate security into software development workflows.
• Drive adoption of secure coding standards, design reviews, threat modelling, and security architecture practices.
• Ensure security becomes a natural part of how teams build and iterate on products.
• Establish scalable security capabilities across the SDLC.
• Drive implementation and optimization of tooling for static/dynamic analysis, dependency scanning, container security, and API security.
• Enhance automation to help developers identify and address security issues earlier.
• Oversee security reviews for cloud-native apps, microservices, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Guide teams through secure design decisions and product risk assessments.
• Improve vulnerability management and remediation across development teams.
