Otsuka is seeking a Director, Medical and Promotional Review to lead the global Medical Affairs content governance and PRC/MRC review across therapeutic areas. This remote, full-time role reports to the Senior Director of Medical Communications and drives strategic scientific leadership, quality, and process excellence in medical information and promotional materials.

Qualifications

Advanced scientific degree required.
10+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare with promotional and medical review experience.
Strong knowledge of FDA advertising and promotion regulations and related guidance.
Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex scientific information.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic scientific leadership for Medical & Promotional Review across portfolio.
Lead and develop a team of medical reviewers with consistent standards.
Oversee PRC/MRC review processes ensuring accuracy, balance and compliance.
Drive governance, quality metrics, and operational excellence in review workflows.
Collaborate with ME&O, regulatory, Legal, and other stakeholders to enable compliant content development.
